There are no published geodetic studies of Zukur volcanic Island.
Zukur (Syn. Zugar) is the largest island in the Zukur-Hanish island group in the southern Red Sea. There are numerous basaltic pyroclastic cones and evidence for phreatic eruptions. Like at Hanish, the vents on Zukur are aligned NE-SW. NASA Landsat7 image (worldwind.arc.nasa.gov)
